BLACK SUNDAY IN OWO Many feared killed by Islamic extremists, as explosion rocks Owo, Ondo State. The incident happened on Sunday 5th, June, 2022, at St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo town, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State capital. It was gathered that some worshippers of over 70, were killed as a result of the incident. The explosion, reportedly occurred in the church premises while the mass was going on. Bullets and bombing with explosives accompanied the inhumane incident as the priest of Saint Catholic Church ,Owaluwa in Owo was kidnapped at gunpoint during the Sunday Service. The attack on St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church shows us the level of insecurity in Nigeria.
